What labs should I send in?
Functional Lab Hackers can generate reports on nearly all of the most commonly run blood lab markers and even generates some ratios from lab markers that are specific to functional medicine. There are 121 different markers that we can report on.
What if I send in labs but those markers are not read by Functional Lab Hackers?
Basically, those labs for which we do not have an algorithm will not be included in the report.
What if I don't have any recent labs or any lab work?
You can go to your doctor and ask them to run labs for you. A list of the basics and various panels that we recommend is available here. We do have a lab partner that allows individuals to order labs without seeing a doctor. The link to the their website and the panels we recommend is www.ownyourlabs.com. The contact info for our lab partner is www.ownyourlabs.com/contact-us/ if you have any specific questions about getting your labs run or getting a lab report to you that was ordered through them, please contact them directly.
How Do I Upload My Labs?
Once you complete the checkout process, you'll be directed to a page to upload your lab file. If you do not have a printed version of your labs already, you can get one from the medical provider. Additionally, many people have access to their labs on a portal from their doctor or the lab they used. It is required that those portals give you an option to print your labs or save them as a PDF. We can accept either a scanned image, a legible photo or a PDF of your labs. We cannot access your portal.
Is Functional Lab Hackers HIPAA Compliant?
Yes, the information you send to us is encrypted via the link where you upload your lab results. The servers on our end are also 100% HIPAA compliant. The transmission of your report back to you is also encrypted so all of your Private Health Information is safe from beginning to end.

How long will it take to get my report?
It generally takes 1-2 business days to interpret your data and get your functional health report back to you.
What do I do if I don’t receive my report?
A HIPAA compliant link to your report will be emailed to you as soon as it is ready- generally in 1-2 business days. If you do not see this in your email, you can send a query to [email protected]. Also- do not forget to check trash and spam folders to make sure the link did not inadvertently get wrongly directed.
